A social mobility charity which supports bright, disadvantaged young people into secure, sustainable, high quality careers in accounting, business and finance, need your help now!

Leadership Through Sport and Business (LTSB) make sure those at risk of under-employment find careers that match their talents and ambition, ensuring they are contributing in their roles from day one.

There are a number of volunteers opportunities to support the various projects below:

Practice Interviews

Interview Practice sessions allow the young people to experience an online interview with someone new (you), in a formal format that reflects the pressure they will be under when they go for their final interview at the end of the Bootcamp. These practice sessions are critical in ensuring the young people are as prepared as possible before their interview.

Available dates / times:

Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th July, for a hour (your choice) from 9am - 12pm

Presentation Judging

Presentations require research, analysis, creativity and strong communication skills - all of which are the great foundation for a career. As a judge, your feedback will help the young people personally and professionally develop, and gain confidence as they transition into work. An accompanying pack will outline the topic and factors to consider when judging.

Available dates / times:

  • Friday 2nd July, 10am-1pm
  • Friday 16th July, 10am-1pm

Guest Speaker Sessions

During these tech-focussed guest speaker sessions you will have a chance to speak to small groups of young people. These are lunch-break chats - around 45 minutes - and supported by an LTSB member of staff who will send you a Zoom invite.

We have created these sessions to demystify the people and practices of roles in technology - to normalise work and working relationships in environments often very different from anything the young people or their families have experienced before.

But don't feel confined to these topics! Ideally it's a fairly organic conversation, with plenty of engagement from the candidates. We know these interactions make a real difference to the young people's ability to imagine themselves in major firms.

Available dates / times:

  • Tuesday 29th June 2021, 12:30pm - 13:15
  • Thursday 1st July 2021, 12:30pm - 13:15
  • Monday 5th July 2021, 12:30pm - 13:15
