This fantastic international children's charity are looking for a new social media manager to come and join their team. Either based at their offices in Victoria or Milton Keynes, within this role you can look forward to playing a key role in this charity's strategy to increase public engagement and support with this fantastic cause. Reporting into the Head of Media and Communications, you take control on the charity's social media accounts, which currently has tens of thousands of followers and develop them and draw in existing and new audiences, driving their cause through giving, fundraising and advocacy.
Line managing one member of staff you will be response for exploring different kinds of content and developing a distinctive and vibrant social media personality for the charity. You will be the social media expert for the charity, and manage the social media budget. You will manage the representation and communication of the charity in the social media space, and build their brand and enhance their reputation and grow the charity's social media operation.
The ideal postholder will:
- Be highly experienced in managing social media for high profile organisations
- Ability to work with key stakeholders around the organisation
- Have experience of the development and implementation of social media strategies
- Be able to manage cross-organisation social media campaigns
