TPP's client a leading Mental Health charity is seeking a Social Inclusion Project Worker to join their active team in Wandsworth.

About the Charity:

Our client is a highly reputable Mental Health charity who promotes and campaigns for the right of people with mental health issues.  The Wandsworth service provides advice and guidance to adults with mental health issues who are seeking support in their recovery.

The role:

The role of the Social Inclusion Project Worker will be to provide flexible and responsive support based on the needs and aspirations of service users that promote social inclusion and recovery. You will be required to work in partnership with service users to identify goals and how to achieve them. You will also work with service users to facilitate access to appropriate services to progress their growth and recovery and initiate, develop, execute and supervise activities. An aspect of volunteer recruitment will be required also and reflective practice is encouraged, therefore you will be required to meet with the service users and review and reflect on their recovery journey together.

About you:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in Mental Health, social care, volunteering or a related field. You will also need to have experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems, experience of working within a mental health setting and experience in providing advice, guidance and training to others. As the role in based within a resource centre you will also have experience of networking and liaising with referrers and community based organisations, and have the ability to work within a fixed budget.
