TPP’s client, an inspirational and committed charity are seeking a Services Manager to lead their social inclusion services in Ealing.

About the charity

Our client represents the interests of people with a learning disability across Ealing, they work in collaboration with carers, families, volunteers and professionals to create opportunities; which showcase their customer’s talents, build key life skills in order to break down barriers and overcome isolation, and change people’s lives. They deliver a variety of services, projects and workshops to achieve this from travel training and home care support, to supported holidays and structured day activities. They are led by an inspirational CEO who delivers a clear vision and wins the hearts and minds of the staff and stakeholders.

About the role

As the Services Manager for their Social Inclusion projects you will be given the opportunity to utilise all your key skills plus develop more!  Managing a cluster of small services including an at home support project, activities and adventures and supported holidays (you are not expected to attend the holidays personally).  You will work in collaboration with the Skills and Training Services Manager who has been with the organisation for some time, together the two of you will manage the rotas ensuring all services are appropriately staffed, conduct and ensure supervisions are taking place regularly and training is being coordinated as required. You will also get the opportunity to work strategically with the Head of Service to develop and steady level of growth within the home support service.

The staff team you will be responsible for are energetic, passionate about their work and very creative. You will have 4 direct reports; team leaders, of whom will support with day to day running of the sessions.

In order to be considered for this job you will need to have exceptional experience of working with and supporting people with a learning disability in a supported living or similar setting. You will be a strong and positive leader who leads by example and knows how to manage staff and service delivery. Being a forward thinker and solution-focused is also important in order to be a part of the achieving and proactive culture.
