Exciting Opportunity for a Mental Health Service Manager
A renowned mental health charity are looking for a Service Manager to lead and manage community programmes throughout the organisation ensuring positive recovery outcomes for people with mental health problems and their carers, providing leadership to staff teams, meeting and exceeding service objectives and the requirements of service level agreements, funders and commissioner contracts.

You will lead the transformation of community services, ensuring services delivered are those people want to use and fund.
You will be providing robust line management support to staff that leads, encourages and motivates them within their roles.
To ensure person-centred, safe and risk-positive services that promote recovery, wellbeing, independence and resilience.
To ensure the recruitment, induction and training of staff and volunteers, in line with the organisation’s policies.
To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including service users, staff volunteers, commissioners and funders.
To be the budget holder for Community Programmes, ensuring that the budget is managed appropriately and responsibly
Proven experience of managing, driving and motivating a team of staff and/or volunteers
Experience of working within mental health recover and personalisation services.
Experience of delivering change management- Demonstrable experience of service transformation
Proven track record of managing and delivering services that support people with mental health problems, other vulnerabilities and their carers.
Demonstrable experience of budget management.
Salary: £35,959 - £39,729 p/a
Hours: 37.5 hours per week ( 5 days per week - full-time)
