TPP?s client, a leading national advocacy charity is seeking an adaptable Service Manager to lead their fast paced team of advocates and volunteers.

They provide a large range of advocacy services including promoting self-advocacy. The Redbridge service provides a range of services from IMHA to NHS complaints. This service employs approximately 9 advocates. The role of the Service Manager will be to demonstrate an innovative and entrepreneurial performance culture ensuring staff engagement and focus on the company?s visions and goals, regular supervisions for staff and volunteers and identify any training needs and development opportunities. This role will also involve relationship and partnership building in order to maintain existing relationships and develop new relationships with funders/ commissioners where needed. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Regional Director in targeting specific work in support of the company?s strategic plan and to participate in various activities to support the winning of new contracts and in maintaining current income streams.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has excellent management experience including change management. To be considered for this role the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their career in managing and delivering a service to different service user groups such as; mental health, disability, older people etc. The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of the principles of advocacy, be able to solve problems in a creative way, have a sound business understanding and have experience of contract and budget management.
