Service Improvement Project Manager / Business Analyst – 6 month fixed term contract

TPP are working in partnership with a well-established Housing Association to recruit for a Service Improvement Project Manager / Business Analyst to cover maternity leave in a 6 month fixed term contract, in which you will take the lead on a number of ongoing change-specific projects. This role is based in Central London and will be paying between £38,000 - £40,000 pro rata. Further information on this role can be found below.

Duties and responsibilities;

  • Plan, undertake and lead selected projects from the Service Improvement programme, deploying a range of lean tools and standardised approaches.
  • Conduct diagnostic reviews - to understand performance and issues in key areas
  • Run improvement workshops to deliver measurable and sustainable improvement
  • Coach managers and staff to become effective Lean practitioners ensuring sustainment of Lean Project outcomes
  • Promote awareness and stakeholder buy-in through regular reporting
  • Measure, evaluate and report on service improvement project outcomes to demonstrate return on investment, agreeing measures for success, quantifying financial benefits and adapting plans as appropriate
  • Support groups to achieve continuous improvement through analysis of data, benchmarking of best practice, external research
  • Consider and highlight the implications of potential changes to company plans, policies and procedures

Person specification and experience required;

  • Proven record of process improvement, performance measurement and project management
  • Ability to present and facilitate large and small group workshops
  • Data analysis and problem solving
  • Able to use standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Awareness of lean systems thinking
  • Experience of using Lean tools to deliver continuous improvement
