The TPP Fundraising team are supporting a well-known Children's charity with the search to a Senior Trusts Manager maternity cover (up to 12 month contract). Working as part of a close-knit and high-performing team, this role leads a team of 4 talented Trusts Fundraisers. You will be responsible for maximising the long-term support of both new and existing trust and foundation funders capable of giving five, six and seven-figure gifts, with an overall annual income target of more than £3 million.

In this role you will:

- Personally 'keywork' a portfolio of existing funders and generate new prospects, managing those relationships to generate significant income and maximise long term potential, surpassing a personal income target of around £300,000 a year.
- Develop and deliver strategies to improve relationships with trust funders and prospects, and increase the income generated from them.
- Play a leading role in raising the profile of, and engagement with, major giving fundraising across the charity, both internally and externally. This will be focused on identifying and capitalising on opportunities to achieve collective goals.

In order to be considered for this role you will possess substantial personal experience of securing support (at a six-figure level) from high value grant makers, and of supporting others to do the same. You will have prior staff management experience, and a track record of demonstrating strategic thinking, initiative and creativity to achieve outcomes. You will have a strong understanding of philanthropic trends in major giving across the UK to be able to identify and exploit new opportunities to a successful conclusion. Strong written communication and the ability to verbally convey complex information to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way is essential. You will also require excellent interpersonal skills to operate and negotiate successfully with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels.

To apply to this role, please send an up-to-date CV in response to this advert in the first instance. Alternatively, contact Matt Adams on TPP's Fundraising team for a confidential discussion.
