A leading and well-established women and children's domestic abuse charity is seeking a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer. The charity is one of the biggest providers of specialist domestic violence services in the country. They are committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated and where woman and children can live in safety
The aim of the role is to transform the growth of Trusts and Foundations income by managing an existing pipeline of donors and creating new longer-term partnerships. You will make successful written applications to a variety of charitable trusts and foundations and statutory partners which bring the charities life-changing and life-saving work to life. You will also take ownership of a segment of the current portfolio of trusts and foundations, managing the relationship from beginning to end
To be successful in this role you will extensive proven experience of producing high quality and compelling grant applications, reports and correspondence to inspire generous support and high value grants from trust and foundation audiences. You will need excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with internal and external contacts. Finally, you will need the ability to demonstrate respect, understanding and sensitivity when communicating around issues of domestic violence and other personal and emotive issues.
