Senior Student Funding Officer

We are working with a specialist higher education institution to recruit for a Senior Student Funding Officer. Working in friendly Registry team, you will provide a high level, professional higher education administrative support service to the whole School Community and applicants.

This is a full time, 35 hours per week, permanent vacancy. You will be required to work normal office hours and be in office at least 3 days a week. Flexibility may be required to vary the hours of work to accommodate, on occasion and by arrangement, a start and finish time. The salary range is £36,060 - £40,750 including London Weighting.

As the Senior Student Funding Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Registrar (Admissions and Enrolment) and the Head of Registry Services and be responsible for comprehensive support to applicants, students and staff and the management of compliance with funding provider requirements.

You will ensure that the institute processes are designed and developed in accordance with external funding bodies requirements and to reflect sector good practice, acting as the main School liaison for Student Finance England and US loans and Maintaining high accurate records of said student funding within the student records systems (SITS)

To be considered, you will have good knowledge of Higher Education and experienced in student funding processes who will be able to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills in this exciting and varied Senior Student Funding Officer role. You will also have excellent customer service and strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook), a high level of numeracy and be proficient at using Higher Education student databases (preferably SITS)
