Your new Charity
A market-leading Charity renowned for their innovative, life changing support and services to children & young people across the UK.
The Charity are well established and pride themselves on their standards of service to the service users as well as their employees.
Due to team growth, they are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join their service in East London.
Your new Support Worker role
As the Senior Residential Support Worker, you will lead and organise shifts and support the Manager to effectively lead the residential team.
You will supervise the frontline staff, ensuring the highest standards of care, alongside overseeing case management and shift leadership where necessary.
You will also play an important part in the direct support to the children and young people at the service, ensuring you know their whereabouts at all times, tasks such as food preparation when needed and the day to day care of the children & young people.

What you will need to succeed
You will have a true passion and dedication to supporting individuals and contributing to their quality of life & independence.
You will hold demonstrable experience of managing/supervising a team, supporting children & young people with learning disabilities in a residential setting.
An NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent!) is required for this role, alongside an enhanced DBS check. If you currently hold an enhanced DBS on The Update Service, this is beneficial to your application.
