TPP’s client is a renowned independent professional membership organisation and registered charity representing over 15,000 psychiatrists in the UK and Internationally. They support psychiatrists throughout their careers, from training through to retirement, and in setting and raising standards of psychiatry in the United Kingdom.

The Role:

The College Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI) is a multi-disciplinary team of research and development staff who work to improve mental health services who are seeking a new Senior Programme Manager.

Responsible to the Head of CCQI, you will oversee a group of quality improvement programmes within cluster one programme of work.  This includes QNCC, QNIC, Perinatal, Aims (WA, AT, ED, ECTAS), Community of Communities, Enabling Environments, and Drug & Alcohol. You will manage, design and develop standards and marketing of Accreditation and Networks programmes in collaboration with the Senior Programme Manager. You will also prepare and manage the cluster budget in conjunction with the Head of CCQI.

Responsibilities also include: planning the recruitment of mental health services to participate; collaborating with partner organisations, clinicians, patients and carers; and supporting quality improvement within the CCQI.

About you:

The successful candidate will supervise 3 Programme Managers and will oversee 12 quality networks and accreditation schemes with budgets of about £1.7 million per annum. It is essential that you have a keen interested in Health or Social Care and, in particular, Mental Health. Being an experienced project manager, you must be a good team player having worked in quality improvement, audit or research previously, ideally in healthcare. You will have previous Project management experience and the ability to coordinate and manage programme work.

You will also have excellent organisational, report writing and communication skills. The successful candidates will undergo a DBS check.
