This highly respected membership organisation are looking for a press and media relations professional to come and join their team until the end of January 2019. Within this role you will be playing a key role in ensuring that the organisation make a bigger impression with print, online and broadcast media. You will be planning an delivering proactive media relations, and draft content, such as articles and press releases on key issues that affect the organisation. You will also be handling the reactive media relations, including crisis comms, and co-ordinate their member communications teams on all reactive issues. Further to this you will be pitching stories to a range of media to ensure strong media coverage and to broadcast the organisations views.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced media relations/press professional
- Have experienced working with print, online and national media at a national level
- Experience of both proactive and reactive media relations
- Be immediately available
