TPP is currently working with a not for profit sector organisation who are a scientific academy focused on promoting excellence in science. They are seeking to hire a Senior Policy Adviser to join them for a 12 month period providing maternity cover. As an experienced policy professional with knowledge of climate change issues, you will lead our client's climate change programme.
Your duties and responsibilities will include
Leading and coordinate our client's policy work on climate change.
Lead high-profile programme of activity focusing on UNFCCC COP26.
Closely monitoring UK and international policy developments in this area.
Building national and international networks of influence with policymakers.
Representing our client and its policy positions in meetings with government, policymakers and others.
Your knowledge, skills and experience will include :
Expertise in climate change policy
Skilled oral and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
Have worked on a variety of policy programmes at corporate, national and/or international level
Delivering complex projects on time, on budget and on scope.
