The TPP Fundraising and Development team are delighted to be supporting this fantastic national children's charity with the recruitment to a key vacancy within the Philanthropy Team. The Senior Philanthropy Manager (North & Midlands), will work as part of a succesuful and ambitious Philanthropy team who's work plays a central role in the overall income generation strategy. Leading the team across the Midlands and North and working closely with colleagues in the broader fundraising team across the UK, you will focus upon high level, individual donors responsible for securing major gifts ranging from four to seven figures+.
Managing a team of four based across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, you will hold responsibility for an income target of approx £2m, as well as responsibility for developing and managing line reports to maximise the long term relationships of all new and existing donors, as well as managing your own donor/prospect file. You will develop and deliver strategies to improve relationships with major donors and prospects, and play a leading role - with a range of colleagues - in raising the profile of and engagement with major giving fundraising.
To be considered for this role, you will have considerable personal experience of securing support from wealthy individuals - preferably through face to face interactions. You will (ideally) have of managing teams of staff, possess excellent interpersonal skills to operate and negotiate successful with colleagues and external stakeholders, and the organisational skills to plan and manage both your own work, and the work of others to deliver stretching objectives.
