A world-leading performing arts academy and awarding body are looking for a Senior Officer - Quality and Compliance on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external quality assurance for the organisation.
As the Senior Officer for Quality and Compliance you will ensure the organisation's continued compliance with regulatory conditions. You will also establish and maintain effective quality assurance systems to ensure they continue to operate well as an awarding organisation. This will include managing operational risk, overseeing audits, self-evaluation processes and compliance checks.
The Senior Officer has line management responsibility for one member of staff for whom you will conduct regular 1-1s and appraisals. You will also liaise with the regulators, provide data returns for external organisations and lead on the production of reports and communications for the senior management team. In this role you will also oversee centre registration and ensure the validity of the assessments.
This is a great role for someone a detailed knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks and a strong understanding of qualification design and assessment methodologies. You will also have worked within an awarding organisation previously and conducted statements of compliance, self-evaluations or validity audits.
As someone with strong oral and written communication skills, you will be an organised self-starter with a proven ability to work well under pressure. You are a collaborative team player who has excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
