A global professional association with more than 21,000 members in 96 countries are looking for a Senior Manager, Professional Development to cover maternity leave. You will lead the organisation's strategy worldwide, ensuring all education and training meets the professional development needs of current and prospective members.
As the Senior Manager for Professional Development you will oversee all aspects of the Professional Development team's activity and ensure the education strategy aligns with the organisation's mission and values, as well as managing the rest of the team. You will take responsibility for the quality assurance and standards across all education delivered by the organisation, its partners, branches and suppliers and provide expert advice and guidance on academic standards and delivery of education and training.
In this role you will oversee the organisation's university partnership programme and its system for assessing accreditation at all levels. You will also lead the forward planning and strategy development across education projects and work with commercial and product development stakeholders to bring content from initial design to market.
We are looking for an experienced manager who has worked in an education organisation at a senior level. You will have experience of managing projects and servicing committees or academic boards. You will also have experience of working within an academic cycle, quality assurance in education or qualification approval processes. Ideally you will have a knowledge of education programmes and how they relate to professional membership and standards.
The ideal candidate will have very strong communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation at all levels. You will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally and have great attention to details.
