TPP Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading animal charity who are currently actively seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join their Legacy team. Supported by the Legacy Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the delivery of direct marketing activities aimed at converting prospects to commit to leaving a Legacy gift and communicate with those already committed, to maintain their decision.
The charity relies on donations and fundraising and without these funds from their fabulous supporters they wouldn't be able to help animals in need.
The Legacy Marketing team is responsible for activities that recruit, convert and retain supporters that will grow and maintain the charity's largest income stream. This role is vital to developing and maintaining supporter relationships, communicating with them through mass direct marketing activities and one to one, including at events, directly and via the Legacy Marketing Executive.
Working with the Legacy Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement strategic objectives and plans to maximise the potential future income from their current supporters and prospects.
What you'll be doing:
●Support the Legacy Marketing Manager Development by providing input on an annual basis into the strategic and tactical planning. Identify new opportunities for growth and make recommendations on how to implement, including initial assessment of opportunity for expansion of supporter events programme.
●Activation of annual plans through the planning and implementation of supporter development conversion and stewardship campaigns across all integrated channels (including direct mail, telephone, email and events), managing the marketing executive to ensure campaigns are delivered on time ensuring KPI's are achieved for response and projected ROI and expenditure.
●Work with the Data and Insight team to agree targeting approach and data selection criteria for campaigns. Recommend and agree data selection hierarchy across multiple campaigns running concurrently to ensure responsible supporter contact management.
●Support the Legacy Marketing Manager Development and work directly with the Senior Legacy Marketing Executive Recruitment to ensure plans are in place to convert recruited supporters through to leaving a gift in their Will.
●Monitor, report and analyse campaigns and activity and share with stakeholders making recommendations for future activity.
●Ensure standards are set and adhered to for all internal processes in accordance with the wider policy of the charity and the management of campaign activity including high quality creative, briefing and targeting across all supporter development activities addressing any issues as they arise. Ensure internal approvals process is followed.
●Manage agencies and external suppliers, from point of contract, ensuring they operate on behalf of the charity to agreed principles and plans, picking up any issues escalated by the Marketing Executive and using negotiation and persuasion to drive results where necessary.
●Manage, motivate and coach direct report to ensure they have the ability, skills and knowledge to perform their role as required. Includes setting objectives and regularly measuring against them, and introducing and maintaining performance management processes as required.
●Ensure there are effective processes and guidance in place for the fulfilment of supporter enquiries both in response to campaigns and unsolicited/ad hoc requests.
●Oversee direct report in responding to supporter enquiries, be point of escalation and decision maker for more complex requests as required.
●Further development of the supporter events programme, leading on event planning and execution including setting of standards to meet supporter expectations.
●Identify and take advantage of opportunities to develop one to one relationships with supporters.
●Monitor transfer of data, including confidential supporter information, between third party suppliers and the charitys website and the database.
●Develop processes to improve performance and efficiency.
