Do you have experience in Community and Trust Fundraising?
I am working with a well-loved charity within Wolverhampton to help them recruit for a Senior Fundraising Officer to cover a 12 month period with possible extension. You will be responsible for continuing the development and implementing the funding strategy, which supports the fantastic services within the area. We are looking for someone who is confident in preparing bids and tenders but who is also very much confident in community fundraising.
This is a chance for a successful fundraiser to use all of their skills.
You need to have experience in researching and creating a variety of sources and opportunities for income generation and long lasting relationships. In addition to this you will have proven experience of successful managing a portfolio of fundraising steams by cultivating, developing and sustaining effective relationships. Finally you will have experience in supporting and managing a team as you will be line managing a Fundraising Officer and a Community Fundraising Officer.
This is a an exciting role for someone with the following experience
- Lead on the co-ordination, development and submission of applications to trusts and statutory sources, and manage a calendar of applications, prioritising according to deadline dates and priority areas of work
- Support the development of project concepts for writing up as funding bids in collaboration with colleagues
- Comply with legal requirements and best practice related to fundraising activities
- Ensure reporting and monitoring is conducted and submitted to funders to meet deadlines.
