TPP's Fundraising and Development team is delighted to be supporting a Hertfordshire-based charity with the search for a Senior Fundraising Officer. This is a 9-month maternity cover at an organisation that has experienced significant growth in recent years, and is a key role in achieving the organisational Fundraising Strategy and Plan.

This is a role that works across a broad portfolio of fundraising, but the key income stream is Trusts and Foundations, so the successful candidate will have a good track record in raising funds from this source.

Specifically you will:

- work across teams within the charity to maximise revenues by building profitable income streams and sustainable, partnerships and activities (for individuals, families and local companies, groups and associations)
- work across a broad portfolio of fundraising. The post holder will be expected to manage a programme of work including co-ordinating and writing applications to grant-making trusts, supporting community fundraising events and Charity of the Year partnerships, and delivering and growing an individual giving programme.
- be responsible for proactively researching new funding opportunities, stewarding existing funder relationships, and growing the Trust & Foundations portfolio.
- provide dedicated stewardship and support to existing fundraisers and donors and recruit supporters to raise income and profile.

To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record of trusts and foundations fundraising, be enterprising, creative, goal-orientated and possess a can-do attitude. You will be highly organised, have excellent written skills, and be able to manage a varied programme of work with conflicting deadlines.
