A highly prestigious membership charity prominent in charity finance is seeking a skilled individual for a role as a Sales Ledger & Debt Management Executive.
The role will involve:
-Sales ledger processing
-Being the key contact for the Sales ledger - ensuring control over posting of invoices, receipts, and posting journals for debtors, and unallocated income.
-Complete, accurate and valid processing of transactions including posting receipts from customers.
-Assisting with the monthly bank reconciliations by paying in cheques, cashbook coding and posting to nominal ledger (SUN), cashbook reconciliation to bank statements and posting of receipts and refunds to customer database system (OpenEngage/Accounting Office).
-Process credit cards via Worldpay and reconcile Worldpay statements to bank receipts
-Use ticket system to respond to requests for customer statements and resolve queries
-Reconciliation and chasing of unallocated income
-Processing of direct debits for membership renewals
-Debt-chasing as required and overall responsibility for debt collection
-Assistance with management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
-To undertake other tasks as may be reasonably requested as dependent on business needs
-AAT or part-qualified ACCA
-Previous experience in a sales ledger role
-An interest in charities and an interest in finance
-SUN experience desirable but not essential.
-Excellent customer facing and communication skills
