About the Organisation:
TPP's client is a registered charity with over 40 years' experience dedicated to providing residential support and treatment for people who are severely addicted to gambling. They are seeking a new Residential Treatment Centre Manager to manage a 9 bed residential service based in Beckenham.

About the role:
As Residential Treatment Centre Manager, you will you will be given the opportunity to manage a small team combined of Therapists, Support Workers, Administrators and volunteers. The residential treatment centre and it outreach provision runs a 14 week programme for its residents that enables clients to overcome their addition of gambling and move forward to independent living through theoretical and practical working practices.

Reporting to the Director of Therapeutic Services, you will undertake supervision of staff supervision of staff, students and volunteers ensuring a psychological approach in their work, as well as oversee day to day management of the treatment centre. You will provide appropriate advice, counselling and support to assist residents to address their gambling, helping residents to develop budgeting and other household and survivals skills, and ensure residents are registered with local facilities such as GPs, Housing Departments etc, and are claiming appropriate welfare benefits.

About you:
My client is particularly looking for candidates who have either a Practice Manager/Residential Manager background or a therapeutic/counselling background. If you have both, it will definitely be an advantage!
