A specialist University with an impressive Alumni are looking to recruit a Research Information Manager on a permanent basis paying £41,044- £44,620 per annum plus excellent benefits package .
This is a new role for the organisation as a result of continued expansion and future growth plans. As the Research Information Manager you will play a vital role in the development and Implementation of the Universities Research, Knowledge Exchange and Innovation (RKEI) strategies, policies and associated initiative through effective managing, analysing and reporting on research information and date. You will ensure information on the research and innovation undertaken by the university is accurate and accessible and that both internal and external reporting is as effective as possible to maximise opportunities for research, funding, innovation and impact.
To be successful in the role you will have up to date knowledge of UK and international research and Higher Education funding environment. You will have an excellent understanding of university research data reporting requirements and processes as well as strong data analysis skills and advanced skills in excel. Experience of managing and reporting research data for REF, HEB-CI and HESA returns would be advantageous.
