Are you an organised individual with experience in administration looking to develop your career at the largest funder of health and care research?
This is a permanent role paying £26-28k per annum with a clear career progression plan into the Senior Research Officer post.
We are looking for someone who can carry out the operational activities involved in running research funding schemes including supporting the project management of funding competitions including sharing the chairing of regular progress meetings, using an in-house commissioning checklist tool to closely track progress, and keeping all stakeholders well informed. You will act as a key contact point for enquiries about funding schemes, communicating with applicants, independent expert reviewers and funding committee attendees. You will publish competition information on the website and manage large amounts of data associated with applications for funding, including exporting data into sheets, creating reports and populating templates.
The role would suit an organised and motivated individual with excellent communication skills. Administrative, secretariat, project or process-driven experience, preferably in an area relevant to this role (grant funding, research or health-related administration environment). You will be confident in using Microsoft Office including Excel and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
