A world-leading University renowned for their research is looking for a Research Contracts Officer on an ongoing interim basis. As a senior member in the Research Operations Office you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to staff on project applications and contractual issues, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts on behalf of the School. You will also play a key role in the development of School policy, priorities and agendas as well as protecting the School's access to the results of research for further use. This exciting opportunity also involves delivering training and presentations on the Research Operations Office. As a Research Contracts Officer, you will work with colleagues across the School to streamline and improve research processes.
In order to make a success of this role, you will have relevant experience working with contracts in order to be able to read, understand and negotiate on specific terms. As well as a great understanding of contract law, you will have demonstrable experience of understanding and interpreting complex contract documentation and funder financial terms and conditions.
