A well known youth charity who strive to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people by developing their confidence and skills to succeed in life beyond school, are looking for a Research and Development Manager to join the Service Design Team.

You may be based at any of the Charity's offices which are in London, Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester.

The charity have identified a new opportunity to provide wider reaching services for young people through designing and creating new digital and face to face services that enable young people to have transformational experiences with employees.

As the Research and Development Manager, you'll play a vital part in the development of a blended learning and engagement model that will transform the impact the charity has on young people.

This particular post will focus on the updating and developing the existing portfolio of services offered to schools. Examples include programmes supporting young people at risk of underachieving through alternative engagement at a secondary school level, mentoring programmes and an enterprise challenge programme.

Through research and using knowledge and understanding of the school landscape and education programme design, you will also be responsible for the creative design and development of new programmes to be delivered into schools.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have experience/knowledge in the following;
* The UK school landscape
* Formal or informal education programme design and development for young people, ideally NEET
* Service Design methodologies including user-centred design and open innovation
* Digital literacy and the understanding that availability of digital content can transform the lives of young people
* Researching and evaluating youth programmes to direct new projects
* Stakeholder management internally and externally
