We are working with a regulatory organisation who are responsible for setting education standards to recruit for a Regulatory Officer. You will ensure authorisation applications are prioritised and assessed within regulatory and target timescales.

This flexible working opportunity offers hybrid home working. The salary is £31,180 - £36,900 per annum (Plus, a benefit allowance of £ 1,300 per annum) . This role is based in Central London and may occasionally require you to attend at offsite meetings.

As the Regulatory Officer you will undertake risk and evidence-based authorisation of individuals, chambers, Approved Education and Training Organisations and other bodies regulated by the organisation. You will undertake other regulatory work within the Regulatory Operations Department as required and provide administrative support to the work of the Department to ensure efficiency of operation.

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience.
* Operating within a regulatory regime
* Demonstrable experience of applying a decision-making framework
* Analytical skills - the ability to think critically, analyse data, make suggestions and recommendations based on evidence
* Demonstrable experience of risk awareness
* Understanding of regulation and supervision
* IT literate skills - Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Delivery and Planning - Organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and provide accurate and consistent work
