£43,000 per annum pro rata

Our client a statutory funded organisation is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee their Reablement service in Wokingham, Berkshire.

The service is available seven days per week, 365 days per year. The aim of the service is to provide effective and efficient intermediate care and reablement in order to promote self-sufficiency and reduce long term dependence on services. They achieve this by offering a short term reablement service to help people regain their confidence and independence following hospital discharge and by providing an assessment service whereby a person’s reablement potential and/ or ongoing care need is reviewed. The organisation have partnered with the local NHS Intermediate Care Team and the Council’s Health Liaison team in order to provide this service.

As the Registered Manager your main responsibilities will be to ensure the services are compliant with CQC standards and to ensure that the delivery of a person centered service to support the health and wellbeing of the population.

You will be the pinnacle point of contact between the organisation, council and NHS partners therefore you will need to have excellent relationship building and management skills along with the relevant qualification to be a CQC registered manager. The service requires an element of change management so experience in this is also essential.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have substantial management experience within a home care setting and be able to evidence how you have developed/ restructured a team and developed and/ or maintained key stakeholder relationships.
