My client, a Yorkshire based charity, are looking for a registered manager for their adults’ care home in West Yorkshire.
The charity specialises in providing person-centred care to individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and are dedicated to promoting the independence and dignity of their residents. As registered manager you will be expected to uphold the charity’s values whilst having overall responsibility for the day to day running of the service.
A service-user led home, the residents are made to feel like they are in a family environment and the staff team strive to provide the highest quality care to each individual. As an inclusive service, you will be expected to have an open-door policy and be able to ensure the continued success of the service by managing the home in partnership with the deputy manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the following:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
A thorough understanding of CQC compliance and associated legislation and regulations
Experience working with adults with a range of disabilities including non-verbal communication
The ability to demonstrate the values of respect, dignity, equality and independence
Please note that the client are willing to be flexible within reason with regards to salary, depending on your experience.
