About the Organisation:

TPP’s client is a leading provider of quality homes, with care and nursing across London. They are looking for a new Registered Home Manager for their Care Home, which is located near Colliers Wood, South London. This 64 bed home provides care for older people living with dementia and nursing care needs in a pleasant and purpose built environment. The Home achieved an overall ‘Good’ CQC rating during its last inspection.

The Role:

As the Registered Home Manager, you will inspire, through your leadership, your care team to deliver quality care to the residents. You will ensure the long-term viability of the home through sound financial management, recruitment and development of staff and compliance with CQC standards. Reporting to the Area Manager (Care), you will have a good understanding of the environment in which the home operates, and develop the home’s service to meet the needs of present and future residents.  

About you:

You will have significant experience of managing a care home for the elderly delivering care and support to people with complex, dementia and nursing needs. You will have the ability to manage, motivate and develop the staff team with good interpersonal skills, and have strong experience of recruiting and performance management of staff. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding issues, and details knowledge of the care standards and compliance requirement of the Care Quality Commission.
