Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Our client a lovely children and young people charity are seeking a temporary receptionist to join their team from 17th July for approximately 3-6 months.

As the face of the charity they are seeking someone who has excellent customer service and a passion for the charity sector, willing to go the extra mile, this would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to get exposure in the charity sector, perhaps you have undertaken internships or voluntary roles and looking for a step into the sector, then this could be the next oppertunity for youu.

Job Overview

To provide a full secretarial, administrative and reception service within the administration team, undertaking tasks under the supervision of the Office Manager and other directors and senior managers as required.

Secretarial/Administrative Duties

  • Handling all telephone calls coming into the building and following up matters as appropriate.
  • To input data and type correspondence, some of which may be confidential.
  • To produce spreadsheets, documents, presentations, in the agreed formats as required.
  • To arrange meetings, organise appropriate catering and take accurate minutes.
  • To sort, record and distribute incoming and outgoing post, in a timely manner.
  • To sort, frank and despatch outgoing post including special delivery.
  • To implement and maintain effective filing and other office systems, as directed by the Office Manager and other senior managers and directors.
  • To meet and greet guests.

For this role, they are seeking candidates who have previous administrative experience in a busy environment working under pressure, with strong numerical and MS Office skills, and above all, excellent customer service skills.
