An employer-led end point assessment body are looking for a Quality Manager to join their Independent Assessment Service department on fixed-term contract for six months.
You will be responsible for the internal quality assurance and regulatory compliance of the Awarding Body, with specific responsibility for risk management and conflict of interest. As a strong leader with demonstrable experience in quality assurance, you will work with a team of Chief Examiners and Assistant Chief Examiners to ensure internal quality assurance processes are complied with. In addition, you will manage a register of assessors.
As someone with experience of engaging and building relationships with diverse clients, you will develop and maintain policies and undertake the bi-annual review and refresh to meet regulatory and service demands. You will also complete regulatory data returns.
In order to make a success of this role you will have been involved in the quality assurance from either a qualification and/or apprenticeship end-point assessment perspective. You will also have thorough knowledge of the apprenticeship and technical education policy landscape.
Whilst the organisation are working completely remotely at the moment, they are planning a phased return to their offices near Birmingham in line with government regulations. However, they are open to flexible working and would consider applicants who could only commute in to the office once or twice a week.
