Quality Assurance Officer

A leading membership body who support the training on going professional development for medical professionals are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Officer to play a key role in the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Team.

As the Quality Assurance Officer you will provide core business support including managing the process of accreditation for professional development activities and assessing accreditation applications. You'll also coordinate and support onsite clinical quality assurance visits to Universities, Hospitals, NHS Trusts, Medical Centres and Training Units across the UK.

To be considered for the role, you'll need some experience working with quality assurance systems or examinations/assessments within an education or training setting. You'll also need to have experience of understanding and applying assessment criteria to review information.

You'll stand out even further, if you have experience working in a medical or healthcare related organisation but this is not essential.

You will take a flexible approach to work and have the ability to use your own initiative and confidence to solve problems and communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders, sharing your experiences and expertise. In turn, the organisation can offer flexible working, generous annual leave and a variety of learning and development opportunities with good prospects for progression.

While the team are working remotely at the moment, they envisage a blended approach of office base working, home based working and some travel to training centres.
