A leading regulatory body are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to deliver one of the statutory functions to protect patients by ensuring the quality of education and training programmes is upheld.
You will be proactive in identifying areas for operations development and implementing improvements, as well as managing the operational aspects of the educational quality assurance process independently.
Areas of responsibility:
Managing operational aspects of the quality assurance of education and training programmes, for example: a leading role in the assessment of new course submissions and in the inspection and monitoring of programmes leading to registration
Managing the work of inspectors and providing leadership and advice to inspectors and educational providers
Handling complaints about qualifications leading to registration
Drafting detailed and technical inspection reports
Contributing to the planning and delivery of annual inspector training sessions.
Inducting new staff and providing training as required on specific aspects of roles, procedures and other topics relating to quality assurance
You'll have experience working within a quality assurance field or working with quality assurance systems with excellent written communication skills. You'll also have knowledge in good governance that has previously aided decision making.
