A global international NGO is seeking a Quality and Learning Manager to work at their London office. You will need the flexibility to travel overseas when needed. The main purpose of this role will be to make a pivotal contribution to the quality of their country programmes, consultancy and grants management work, developing robust systems and building an evidence base for the impact their work is having.

The key responsibilities for the Quality and Learning Manager:

Contribute directly to programme monitoring, evaluation, research and learning
Build capacity of senior managers and programme staff in QA and learning
Ensure development, dissemination, promotion and regular review of effective monitoring and evaluation tools
Collate evidence of impact and to synthesise lessons learned for donor reports
Source and deliver new project opportunities that draw on the organisation's MEL expertise
Conduct monitoring visits to recipients of grants or programmes (in the UK and overseas)
Manage Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer

Essential criteria for the Quality and Learning Manager:

Significant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
Experience of working with partners to build capacity
Experience of developing Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems and tools for projects and programmes
Experience leading others to understand and undertake MEL work
Knowledge of the project cycle and demonstrable analytical skills
Understanding of good practice and recent thinking in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
