A leading arts based awarding body are recruiting for a Qualifications Manager to ensure that their qualifications and examinations are of high quality, fit for purpose, creative and that they are assessed appropriately against agreed assessment criteria.
As someone with a working knowledge of the regulatory framework and strong understanding of qualification design and assessment methodologies you will lead on the research and development of new qualifications, associated syllabuses and related documents based on conducting an assessment of market need and viability in consultation with all internal and external stakeholders, channelling all proposals through established departmental mechanisms.
You will also undertake a continuous cycle of review of existing qualifications by seeking feedback from a range of sources, and with advice from the Quality Standards and Compliance Manager on regulatory requirements, in order to ensure fitness for purpose and develop suitable assessment methodologies as well as ensure the Awarding Organisation can meet the demand for appropriate assessment against qualification requirements through the recruitment and training of suitable examiners.
Using your ability to lead others you will be a member of the Management Team within the Examinations Department and act as a role model for all staff to follow in regards to professional attitudes and behaviours.
