A specialist awarding body which works across one of the UK's largest industries is recruiting for a Qualifications and Awarding Manager on a permanent basis. As the Qualification and Awarding Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of qualification management, assessment and examination development whilst ensuring compliance with examination rules.

As a small awarding organisation with four examination days per year and only a small number of qualifications, you will be involved in the qualification process from start-to-finish. Reporting into the Responsible Officer, you will work closely with them and the Centres Manager to oversee operations and assist with the growth strategy of the organisation.

The main purpose of this role is to oversee the management and maintenance of the organisation's qualification portfolio, administration and management of the examination process and the accurate and timely publishing of results to ensure they remain complaint with the General Conditions of Recognition.

You will have demonstrable experience of working within Ofqual regulation for the design, delivery and award of qualifications as well as a basic knowledge of IfATE and EPA requirements. As someone who has worked with assessment and CRM software previously, you will be able to maintain accurate qualification, assessment, learner and centre records.

Your relationship management skills will be excellent and you have great communication skills in order to manage external examiners, subject matter experts and maintain relations with centres. You will also have experience of identifying and managing centre compliance matters, predominately related to assessments, in order to reach the best possible outcomes without disadvantaging learners.
