A global chartered body are recruiting for a Qualification and Assessment Development Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation has just started to go through a large review of the profession and you will join them at a crucial time in this review.
A large part of this role will be to use research evidence and best practice to develop assessments for entry and assessment in the profession, help to design new entry routes, new pathways and competencies, and new assessment methodologies as part of this review. Once the review is complete you will be expected to maintain a programme of ongoing review of the entry and assessment policies, making sure they continue to be relevant and reflect best practice.
You will also manage internal stakeholder groups to research the design of new assessments, policies, eligibility requirements, professional and technical competence requirements and assessment methods. This role will also work with the policy and operations teams to deliver the project plan for design, development, and implementation of new entry and assessment processes, including member research, consultation, transitionary implementation policies.
The organisation are looking for someone with strong experience of assessment design and development and an understanding of qualification frameworks and their role in the professional qualification process. You will have worked within a professional body, awarding organisation or higher education setting and be able to work independently. As well as a positive track record of consultation, evaluation and review, you will have experience of developing networks and managing productive relationships.
The organisation has offices in both London and Birmingham so you can pick a 'base office' and then work on a hybrid model with a mixture of home working and office working.
