I am working with a well-known Health Charity who are looking to recruit a Public Affairs & Policy Manager on a permanent basis.

Please note, they will also welcome applications from those who are seeking part-time work and can accommodate part-time workers for 28 hour over four days.

Reporting into the Head of Policy and Campaigns, you will be joining the team after a very busy and successful year and will plan as well as lead policy and public affairs activity, devising plans to target key parliamentarians and influencers across the UK and contribute to the development of policy positions, confidently representing these to external audiences.

Key duties:

  • Lead on stakeholder engagement for the team. Devising plans to target key parliamentarians across the UK and maintaining systems to track progress and report successes as part of the team's KPIs
  • Grow the organisation's parliamentary supporters and maintain contact with them through one to one meetings and parliamentary emails or newsletters
  • Contribute to the development of policy positions, liaising with members working on knowledge and intelligence to ensure that the latest evidence is used in their formulation and engaging their supporters to ensure that their voices reflect in their policy work
  • Develop, manage and evaluate campaigns with clear objectives that successfully engage target audiences such as parliamentarians

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a strong understanding of health policy as well as knowledge of the UK parliaments and key processes. If you have a track record of developing and maintaining relationships with parliamentarians as well as external & internal stakeholder engagement and management skills, we would like to hear from you.

Please e-mail your CV quoting the reference number - Ref: J70102AM - in the subject line to communications@tpp.c.uk

We look forward to hearing from you.

Closing Date: Monday 15th April 2019
