Project Support Officer

An established Grant Giving charity are seeking a Project Support Officer to join their team, you will be the link between head office and the services ensuring best practice is taking place and ensuring that beneficiaries has access to relevant tools and information.

Main duties for the Project Support Officer:
Main point of contact for service users and volunteers
Liaison with communication team to ensure they have material for stories and content for newsletters
Working closely with the communications team to produce conferences and preparing agenda
Produce post conference action points
Produce statistical information for reporting
Minute regular meetings, circulating agenda and any supporting papers
Arrange meetings and coordinate venues and refreshments
Prepare purchase orders and sign off expenses for volunteers

Essential criteria for Project Support Officer:
Previous experience of working with volunteers
Previous experience of arranging events
Knowledge of preparing briefings, guidance and reports for a range of audiences
Understanding of data protection
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to contribute and speak at small and large scale meetings
Preparing presentations
Ability to travel within the UK
Knowledge of membership or trade association organisations
Budget management experience
