A charity, who help former soldiers and their families to live a hardship free life, are seeking an experienced events professional to project manage a major challenge event.

Your role will be to project manage a major mass participation event, to agreed income, participation numbers and profile-raising targets. The event is an epic adventure challenge, whereby supporters take part in a trek across the terrain of the Scottish Wilderness. They may enter in teams and choose one of three levels of challenge - 54 miles (gold), 36 miles (silver) or 22 miles (bronze) . Teams have 24 hours to complete the challenge which will test participants, both physically and mentally, but will no doubt be exhilarating if not exhausting experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have sound project management skills, event experience and excellent supporter care credentials. You will be able to work on your own initiative, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to secure excellent ROI.
