Project Manager - Exams and Assessment

We are working with an Awarding Body to recruit a Project Manager of Exams and Assessments on a 6 month fixed-term contract.

You will lead the delivery of high priority projects, both new and existing, with a specialist knowledge of examinations and assessments in line with regulatory requirements. As someone with experience of managing a matrix team to deliver multiple projects, you will work alongside the Project Management Team to deliver the Examination and Assessment milestones. This will include coordinating technical development input, end-to-end processes for assessments, the systems and infrastructure to deliver these and the setup of courses running in Welsh and English.

You will have a strong analytical background and excellent conflict management skills which you will use to manage the day-to-day delivery of the function across the team. You will also ensure that the examinations process is accurate, timely, robust and efficient within the scope of the project, as well as oversee the production of user guides and supporting documentation.
In order to make a success of this role you will have previously led complex projects across a regulated organisation and have a strong track record of successful development of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. You will have experience of managing and leading an examinations team with a high level of daily activity and have worked within an awarding or assessment body before.
