We are working with an innovate not for profit organisation, who are urgently looking for 2 Project Managers to join the team. Both appointments will initially be 6 month fixed term contracts. These are hands on project management roles in a fast-changing, multi-disciplinary environment. In these posts, you will liaise with stakeholders at various levels, work to define and communicate the goals of the project, and quickly resolve any technical or strategic issues that occur.
Working as part of a growing Programme team, you could be managing single, large projects or a series of smaller projects. In either case, you will take direct responsibility for mentoring and guiding your multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve your project's objectives successfully, which are also likely to include stakeholders from the commercial and public sectors. Your role will be pivotal to the success of these projects - you will work across all elements of the project lifecycle, you will plan projects, shape solutions, manage budgets and hold responsibility for delivery management, risk management, stakeholder communications and reporting.
In order to be considered for either of these exciting positionss, you will be an outcome focused Project Manager, with significant experience leading successful projects. You will have strong practical experience of Agile software development management, possess first class interpersonal skills and have the ability to quickly understand, interpret and integrate business requirements from a broad range of stakeholders. You will pay close attention to process, have excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of MS Project and MS Office. Experience of working on EU-funded projects would be highly advantageous, as would a project management qualification, although neither are essential for an application.
