A leading university are looking to recruit 2 Project Managers until at least Dec 2020 with the possibility of further extension. These positions are paying £44,559 to £53,174 per annum plus 30 days leave, 4 Christmas closure days and 8 bank hols and a generous pension scheme.
The University has committed £5M to modernise the underpinning systems and processes that support student and academic administration. The Modernising Administration for Students programme consists of a set of interdependent projects that aim to create better experiences for both students and staff. As the Project Manager you will utilise your project management experience and work alongside the team to support all stages of project delivery including the transition to new ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this institution-wide change initiative and work closely with colleagues across the University to change the way in which the University delivers some of its key processes.
To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience:
* Substantial experience in a project management role desirably in a high education environment.
* Sound understanding of project management methodologies in a large and complex organisation, coupled with the ability and experience of working interdependently
* Relevant Project Management qualification
* An ability to lead and influence at all levels with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
