A Professional Membership Body in central London who define best practice for healthcare professionals and are leaders in evidence-based publications and guidance are now looking for a Project and PMO Manager due to the expanding contracted project activity in the Education Directorate.
As the Project and PMO Manager in a key role for the organisation essential to their wider strategy, you will establish and manage the activities in the PMO, providing guidance on policies and processes, overseeing project support staff and collaborating with other departments to develop projects and programmes.
The organisation is working with Health Education England and NHS England to delivery various projects you will be managing. The projects include the development and expansion of a new e-portfolio containing a breadth of professional development programmes and the management of a training project. Working with team members, you'll ensure the projects are well managed to be delivered on time, within budget and are of high quality.
To be considered for the role, you will have project management experience at a national level, sound knowledge of project management principles, excellent communication and report writing skills and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
To make a success of the role, you will have an interest in education and workforce development. If you have experience working with learning technologies, managing education and training projects, or knowledge of the healthcare education landscape, this will be an asset.
