Our client a well-established disability charity is seeking an experienced high level Propositions Project Manager, to support them with an exciting change innovation programme, applicants will ideally be available at short notice, this post can be a full remote working role.
About the Role
Aiming to create a series of coherent programmes which will encapsulate long-term delivery within the pillars of our work - "Live, Learn and Work". This role is key to us moving from 'Projects to Programmes' Whilst much of our work is in our Services across the UK, there are a significant number of established and new/potential projects in the Community that we wish to bring together under our overall themes, in a more holistic and flexible way.
It is a unique and exciting opportunity to articulate and create the approach for both our beneficiaries and donors, providing a tangible pathway towards Community involvement, through education to employment, and independence towards digital inclusion, both in the UK and internationally.
You will lead the development of our innovative propositions to donors across all our income streams, creating a visible product funnel over a 2-3-year horizon which will deliver a significant increase in our reach and impact in society. This is a turnaround role, primarily working in close collaboration with our programmes and fundraising teams; but also with other teams as appropriate including Marketing, Policy and Finance to create Programmes that pave the way for a new way of working which brings all the elements of our projects together to achieve our mission.
With extensive experience (ideally in the charitable sector) of leading detailed project management in complex organisations with a strong results orientation, you will have a demonstrable track record of achievements in bringing together people, processes and innovation applied to transformational products/propositions development. You will have an operational knowledge of financial principles, budgets and pricing structures including P&L and have proven experience of stakeholder management and creative problem solving across multi-country and multi-site projects with tangible deliverables.
You will bring management experience of Executive Boards, front-line project managers and of co-ordinating input from other stakeholders. You will have the ability to get your project to the top of busy peoples' agendas. You will have outstanding communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, bring an understanding of charitable vision and aims, and have the ability to translate them into practical, tangible and costed programmes.
