An international health organisation are seeking an experienced Programme Officer for a 2 year fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within public health or neglected tropical diseases.
Main duties for the Programme Officer:
Contract management, working closely with technical advisors to project manage contracts
Updating contractual agreements, tracking implementation
Project implementation and financial oversight
Support and update annual work plans and logframes
To support the fundraising team in the development of proposals
Management and coordination of internal and external meetings
Essential criteria for the Programme Officer:
Significant project and financial management experience
Experience of managing projects in multiple countries
Experience of public health or neglect of tropical diseases
Ability to develop strong relationships
Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis
Language skills in French would be desirable
Experience of monitoring and evaluation
