We are working with A Professional Membership body to recruit for a Professional Standards Officer. Reporting to a professional Standards Manager you will contribute to the achievement of the organisations business plan objectives.
This is a permanent contract offering great flexible working only one day in office which is located in London.
As the Professional Standards Manager you will make determinations as to the fit and proper status of individuals seeking membership of the business. You will support members in complying with the organisations professional standards requirements and monitor member compliance with professional standards, along with investigating allegations of misconduct against members.
You will manage current, active case-loads covering both fit and proper assessments of applicants for membership and practising licenses and disciplinary investigations and use information gathering techniques to draft allegations of misconduct under the business' disciplinary regulations.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
*Knowledge of investigation practice /Tribunal procedures /Anti- money laundering
*Skills in business writing including report writing, web content and articles for publication
*Excellent customer service skills - strong customer focus
*Experience of organising own workload and meeting deadlines
