Professional Standards & Education Manager

A growing and progressive awarding body are recruiting for a Professional Standards and Education Manager to lead the department as well as be the face of the organisation to partners in order to develop the organisation's commercial focus.

As a confident people person who is also not afraid to be hands on and operationally focused, you will come from a qualification development background and have experience in managing a qualification programme including the quality assurance and regulatory processes.

You will be managing a small yet dedicated and passionate team as well as member volunteers on a remote basis and work closely with their new internal education division to support a new commercial arm to the organisation.

As someone who able to engage with employers and partners, you will ensure products meet the industry requirements any accompany the sales team on meetings and at events to promote the educational offering.

You will also be expected to look at new areas of commercial growth so an understanding of current market changes and trends such as apprenticeships and international approaches are a must.

As this is a close knit organisation you will be expected to be in the office ideally full time with adhoc working from home. You will also be expected to travel to meet with clients both locally and further afield as well as visit centres, consultants and other external contacts and stakeholders to develop and support them.
