We are working with an International Development charity to recruit a Procurement Manager for a fixed term contract of 1 year, the successful candidate will support in country planning, sourcing, and will deliver quality products.
Knowledge of African and Asian market import processes and exemptions would be an advantage but not essential.
Main duties for the Procurement Manager:
Review, update and maintain compliance policy
Support country offices to develop reporting systems
Assist in country to create preferred supplier agreements
Lead on large scale procurements alongside operational managers
Provide support and training on IT systems and reporting
Lead a tender to source a new data/ IT system and deliver migration
Essential criteria for the Procurement Manager:
Recognised qualification in procurement
Experience of procurement within an international setting
Supply chain management experience
Knowledge of relational databases and IT systems
